I’m Kirsten.
Drawn to patterns, driven by clarity.
For over a decade in Chicago, I worked across ad tech and real estate, applying creative problem solving, structure, and good taste to everything from enterprise tool onboarding to pitch decks for major brands.
I like knowing how things work. I like untangling chaos. I like making things make sense.
These days, I build systems, processes, and materials that are intuitive, scalable, and quietly beautiful. I help teams clean up their digital messes so they can focus on what matters.
What I Value
Simplicity
If it can be said with fewer words, done in fewer steps, takes fewer clicks to get there, and takes up less space on your hard drive, it’s probably a better system.
Resourcefulness
I use what’s already there. A good fix doesn’t require a total rebuild—just smart structure and a little patience.
Human-centered design
Design isn’t for show. If it doesn’t work for the people using it, it doesn’t work.
Curiosity
I like to figure out what works and what doesn’t. I pay attention, poke at the edges, and follow what makes sense, even if it’s not the obvious path.
Working with me
Minimal back-and-forth
You don’t have time to hand-hold, and I don’t hold hands unless we’re going steady.
Scrappy mindset
I’d rather work with what you’ve already built—reuse, restructure, repurpose. But I can start from scratch if we need to.
Clarity in Writing
I keep communication concise, documented, and respectful of your time. Email works best.
Je Ne Sais Quoi
Sometimes a project needs something unexpected. I like to find those missing ingredients, even if you don’t end up using them.
YOU REALLY READ THE WHOLE THING, HM?
